Regulatory and media capture? Denmark corporations, unlike Germany and the USA, are not currently licensing worldwide patents for injectable mRNA biologic drugs with the potential to generate annual recurring revenue.

It might be useful if journalistic articles included an annual advertising revenue disclosure for the extended supply chain and competitors of every company mentioned in an article. Data distribution is cheap, it can be a link to a spreadsheet, perhaps blinded by an ethics watchdog, to protect marketing data.

The issue with the American discourse is that it is not just about vaccinating kids. The discussions that dominate the media present the two extreme alternatives: "vaccinate yourself and the kids, wear a mask when requested, etc. etc., and basically be a sheeple" vs "Fuck it, COVID doesn't exist, or, if it does, natural immunity is best, and my liberty is more important, ra-ra-ra." (before the pedants pounce: exaggerated for effect, obviously)

If the discussion was "we broadly agree on everything, it's just a question of vaccinating the kids", then sure, I can imagine the dialogue being more civil.

I don't know the details of Austria's potential mandatory vaccination. But I have read that their vaccination passports account for prior covid recovery. In the US prior recovery is completely ignored.
