I once symlinked vim to emacs on our shared shell login server for a bit when I ran an ISP in the 90's. It was a lot of fun for me... The vim users did not find it amusing.
probably the exact same response you would have had if one of them was in control and symlinked emacs to vim.
Oh, absolutely. It was a childish prank (we were mostly 18-19 when we founded that business and most things were not very professional...), but satisfying exactly because I knew how annoyed I would've been if I was on the receiving end of it.
