The headline is link-bait, and the article is content-free, based on and promoting a press release.

The press release is from an obscure consulting firm whose incentives may not be aligned with Google's.[a]

I flagged the OP.

This headline is misleading as it appears HERE has no mobile application of any appreciable scale (#28 on iOS for navigation).

Here does not seem to offer smartphone apps tough.

The comments seem to be pretty unhappy with the most recent update but I remember this being pretty popular

I haven't used it in a while but sounds like I should give it another try.

I use Nokia Here on my phone and watch. (S10+ and Gear s3)
