Ask HN: Financial Data for Charting App

Hello, for a pet project I’m looking for financial data. I would like to visualize stock prices in addition to news events.

I’m struggling finding a data provider with company profiles attached with the ISIN, tickers, category and so on. Especially the mapping between different identifier is a pain.

Do you folks have any recommendations?
