Taking a screenshot is pretty easy, but this is cool. Would be handy to provide a "copy to clipboard" button instead of only downloading.

Hey thanks for the feedback. I guess you could use this to generate images for your real Wordle solutions but I kind of envisaged it would be used more for fun/memes.

See: https://www.instagram.com/p/CZJqVFYrxle/ (the inspiration for making this tool.)

I'll take a look at what would be needed to copy the image blob directly to the clipboard.

Feedback: I had it open on my tiny laptop screen, and it seems to cut off the top of the Wordle board when I open it up. Downloading the screenshot also crops it off. End result looks like this https://imgur.com/X61qzW9

Edit: the words were a friendly joke towards my colleague, by the way :P

Would be an excellent addition to provide the emoticon versions as well.

I was thinking the same thing. The share function on wordle doesn't play well with Facebook on mobile for me.

Not sure I see the point. If you want to post a fake Wordle unicode that shows you got it right in one try, no one is going to believe you because it is so easy to fake it by just editing the text.

This thing will be likely to fool people, because they won't think you went to the effort to go into a paint program and faked it. (admittedly, that isn't hard either, but still.... )
