Ask HN: How you build a big sign-up list for your startup before launching it?

Hello there,

I'm working on this project http://blockpay.tech for which I'm looking forward to building a sign-up list for before I even launch it in order to validate the concept & thus generate a user base.

Please let me know how can it be done? Any tips would be highly appreciated!

Are you on Indie Hackers? Might check that space out, also the usual Product Hunt if applicable.

Should I just launch there?

I don't think you'd launch to them specifically because they're doing what you're doing, making some SaaS business or whatever.

Just they do launches too so you could see what to do/maybe talk to them.
