The response to Covid-19 isn't a big deal for most of the upper middle class in the US, especially those in the tech industry. (Google shutting the cafeterias....)
However, the lockdown had a huge effect on everyone lower on the food chain.
Prediction: the coverage The Atlantic did of this pandemic will be remembered as an embarrasment.
