If they were so innovative then why didn't they take the next step and make something like Docker?

I was put off by your sarcastic dismissive "Ya know". I may have a controversial opinion, but I don't think it warrants that kind of flippancy.

I'm sorry - I'll try to be kinder. To explain myself, I too was put off by your dismissiveness of Googles own key contributions. But that doesn't mean I can't say that kindly.

For whatever it's worth, you have a very cogent way of making your point.

Thanks. I must admit I've learnt a lot about Google's contributions from this thread, so it's been productive overall.
