I like the idea of an aggregated status page.

How are you getting the 'Reported Status', are you scraping their status pages?

I tried to build something similar a while ago, but found that some companies (looking at you AWS) required a licence and authentication to get to their status APIs.

Do you have plans to add more services?

Exactly, it's just a very quick hack, and scraping and parsing is 'good enough'. Not pretty or long-term reliable, but it does the job.

Very happy to take suggestions for other services - any ideas? What other critical dev infrastructure goes down a lot?

Nothing against scraping at all, I think that's probably the only real way to do this until more companies have a (free) status API.. assuming scraping is within the ToS of course ;)

I had a few others on my list; Azure, Office 365, Stack Overflow.

You have the big ones already though I think.

You might be interested in a project of mine then: StatusGator is a status aggregator.

I built this a little while back just to quickly check the real statuses of some major services that have been silently going down a lot recently (and to mess around with Svelte & Cloudflare pages).

Seems like today might just be the perfect day to share it with everybody else! :D

I'll recommend adding text to the service icons on the left. I didn't recognize the bottom one and have no idea what service that was until I dipped into the HTML.

Very good point, done.

Hilarious name but also painfully necessary to those of us who have had to rely on official status pages. Thanks, /u/pmterry.

Would be great to link to the actual status pages to read the firsthand reports, if any issues.

Great idea! Sad that these type of things need to exist.
