Why Software Developers Are Paid 5x More in the USA

I didn't watch the video, but here are the automatic subtitles, which I think are probably an adequate substitute for watching it (correct me if I'm wrong, those of you who spent 2 minutes of your life you'll never get back):

this is Leo Bobby Bob Bob he's been a
    hardcore software developer since the
young age of one after many years of
practice he's finally ready to get a job
but there's one thing that Leo Bobby Bob
Bob is wondering first what place will
    offer me the most money
you see brewski if you were in little
Bobby Bob Bob's place then you'd want to
go to America more precisely to this
part of America and if you didn't do so
then you'd most probably have to say
goodbye to your hopes and dreams of ever
driving a sick Lambo you see Brosky 1/7
of the US economy is based on
information and technology but less than
one percent of the nation's workforce is
actually driving it six of the top ten
largest IT companies in the world are
located in the US and each one of them
earns more than four billion per quarter
since there is a lack of qualified
people and a lot of work to do these
tech giants are competing both with each
other as well as with smaller companies
by offering bigger salaries than anyone
else in order to attract the most
    competent software developers even if
this translates to greater costs but
again they can afford it because [ __ ]
you small companies so if normal
companies would pay between 70 to 90 K
for a developer Google Amazon or Apple
would be offering between 100 to 200 K
because they can easily afford it
the u.s. is also the first country in
the world in terms of venture capital
    investments averaging around 80 billion
dollars worth of investments as for only
    the year of 2018
this means that big companies also have
to compete with startups for top talent
pushing the average salaries even higher
considering all of this as well as how
outside of the US companies perceive
software developers to be just another
    requirement for daily business operation
just like any other job you can begin to
see why little Bobby Bob Bob is keen on
traveling all the way to the USA for
work in order to get his dream Lambo
well I guess would you like to buy some
    drugs you know
