Ask HN: Which Prebuilt Linux to Buy?

I've always had good experiences with the Dell Developer edition laptops but I don't have enough datapoints to say it's definitely the best option. For desktops, generally getting Linux preinstalled is not a big deal as long as you do a little research to make sure it doesn't have some bleeding edge card or chipset that isn't well supported in Linux yet.

I've had a great experience with Lenovo ThinkStation p330 Tiny, without the Nvidia GPU option, in terms of compatibility and performance on Linux - it feels very snappy. I imagine later models are similar.

You might want to consider Framework (https://frame.work) as well.

I've seen some bad reviews of Framework on here, IIRC.

Do you have one?

I don't but there do seem to be some good reviews here on HN (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=28606962)
