Ask HN: Does anyone use affiliate marketing to sell their SaaS apps?

I was wondering if anyone here uses affiliate marketing (specifically an affiliate marketing network) to sell their SaaS apps. Any tips on how to get started, potential pitfalls, ROI, etc.?

Thanks in advance!
