What other tools did you try?

View on HN

I tried retool, tooljet and appsmith.

Ahhh. You should try Budibase if you have time. I'm the cofounder.

It's open source and a little different than the other options you've mentioned. Below is the repo:

Website: https://budibase.com

Took a look at the website -- why do you have a page which pretends to objectively review competitors and then decides that your project is the best app development tool without acknowledging the obvious conflict of interest?

Hi, we were going to try it - but self hosting was a requirement and setting up CouchDB for it was a dealbreaker for our team.

You can self host Budibase, and use other external data sources too.

shameless plug: i am co-founder of DronaHQ and we have recently launched our self-hosted version of internal tool builder & all it needs is a single docker installation to get started.

Here is the website: www.dronahq.com

would love your feedback incase if you are trying.

I’m also going to jump in here and say try Lowdefy https://github.com/lowdefy/lowdefy - co-founder here.

We take a different angle and believe that low code should still work like code. We focus on a developer first approach.
