Netflix stands to make billions from ads–and other platforms will follow

The author’s spine must be in pretty bad shape after bending backwards so far to find a way to call ads “a net positive for society”. That’s what’s going to better society: to see ads for bubblegum while binge watching reality shows based on fleeting internet memes[1].
