Ask HN: Superhuman open source alternative with Gmail API?

Hey folks really like the minimalist design & forced shortcuts interaction of superhuman email client. I saw papercups.io(a open-source intercom like tool)lets you see & send mails by syncing your existing gmail using gmail api. I am thinking to build one the UI will be a clone of superhuman and will use gmail api. what do you think ?
