Seattle weather is... polarizing... even in a more typical year. I personally find it hard to deal with so little sunshine.
Personally I come from a much colder climate than the PNW so I enjoy how mild and lush it is all year. And I find rain to be cozy.
Every city in the UK has less sunshine than Seattle, for instance.
Though if the winter isn't a dealbreaker, the summer makes up for it by being absolutely gorgeous for a few months almost straight, at least aside from wildfire smoke and a handful of days of unbearable heat.
Personally, I find the amount of violence and crime (all-time high for road rage shootings this year) is more demoralizing than the weather.
Rain in and of itself isn't bad if it's balanced out with sun and warmth.
