Even if FSD doesn’t work out Andrej still has an impressive achievement for 5 years.

I’m not sure if many people 5 years out of their PhD can say they did anything close to what Andrej did.

I wouldn't have dared to step into his role even if I had the chops. Takes real courage to do self driving where a mistake can cost human life. In my line of work a prediction mistake costs 1 minute of extra manual work.
