Not in my experience, delays of a couple of minutes are standard and 15 to 20 minute delays are not unheard of.

Mind you, commuter trains with 30 minute intervals.

Check out Swiss newspapers, plenty of complaints.

And again, I didn't say Switzerland is worse, just that all that praise is mostly a hype.
