Mass fish die-off in German-Polish river blamed on unknown toxic substance

When there was a pollution in Vistula river caused by sewage treatment plants, our state media blamed the mayor from opposition. It was all they talked about.

Now, the state's media quiet on this.

People should go to jail for a long time for stuff like this. We do not need people like this in our society

The toxic substance is now identified: mercury.

It was first found near Oława (miles south Wroclaw, hours south of Germany) with lots of chemical and metallurgical companies at the river Oder, 28th July.
