I've got no idea if this is new. Google gives 738k results for Error:#REF! on Amazon.com

I don't recognize the error, although #REF! looks like something from Excel. Could this be caused by FBA sellers uploading product names created with Excel? What else might be going wrong here?

Sometimes the 'About' bullet points are broken too, and this item looks correct on .com and shows the Error on .ca: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01N4RSKSH https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4RSKSH

That's making sense. I don't know much about the seller side of Amazon... Does Amazon allow people to upload XLSX files to auto-generate listings, or would this be some automation from Excel (like VBA or some current equivalent) itself which has gone wrong?

Yeah there's an Excel/tab-delimited inventory upload: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/G201576670...,

I was surprised to see so many invalid item names including many that have been sold by Amazon themselves for years not just random new FBA SKUs for phone cases etc.
