Genode OS Framework 22.08

In my opinion, if Genode OS wants to really become mainstream in this field, it would need to offer roughly the same level of assurance as QubesOS (or supposedly more since it promises sandboxing over virtualisation, something I have only seen in GrapheneOS to this point). Not only this but the other main advantage is that it is much less of a resource hog as QubesOS. Now on a side note, I also saw some opinions of QubesOS being used in combination WITH GenodeOS, so not necessarily one against the other. Moreover I heard (but maybe just rumour) that QubesOS do not exclude taking some of Genode's approach to QubesOS.
But the main question for me is: what guarantees does Genode offer for big security/privacy challenges that we are facing today, namely: 1- Protection against hardware: processor backdoors, 0-days, Pegasus and god knows what 2- Protection from the Web: apps, webapps, emails, downloads etc.
To this day, I believe the GrapheneOS is probably what gives me the most assurance, however the limited (really not opensource) hardware is a bummer to me...
