This is the kind of thing that Elon can “fix”. Let anybody publish anything so that Twitter (quickly) heads to lowest common denominator.

Except this doctor is one of the most published Cardiologists in the world.

Why did this comment take 9 hours to show up? I mean, I've been on this thread and now this appears as a new comment with a 9 hour dating.

GP has -22 karma and I wouldn’t be surprised if they have some sort of shadow ban, but the post later got vouched. Did you have showdead on?

Thought I did, but did not, thanks!

Of who? What is he famous for?

He's a highly published and referenced, board licensed cardiologist.

From his website:

> Dr. McCullough has broadly published on a range of topics in medicine with > 1000 publications and > 600 citations in the National Library of Medicine. . . Dr. McCullough is a founder and current president of the Cardiorenal Society of America, an organization dedicated to bringing cardiologists and nephrologists together to work on the emerging problem of cardiorenal syndromes. His works have appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of the American Medical Association, Lancet, British Medical Journal and other top-tier journals worldwide.

MDs with hundreds or thousands of publications is usually not a good sign. Factory scientists tend to publish too many tiny or extremely incremental studies. I know of one who's expert at smearing the results of a study over half dozen papers.

Your comment is a smear.

Lol you would know.

Thank god the millennials working at Twitter have the wisdom, grace and benevolence to determine who the rest of us stupid plebes are allowed to listen to so we aren't exposed to any dangerous or offensive ideas.
