Cinebench is a poor general purpose CPU benchmark because:
1. Heavily favors SMT/Hyperthreading
2. Heavily favors CPUs with many slow cores, over CPUs with fewer faster cores
3. Extremely popular today because AMD pushed it in its marketing when Zen1 and Zen2 were favored by Cinebench disproportionally
4. Unoptimized for Apple Silicon/ARM
5. Uncorrelated with gaming
6. Generally poorly correlates with office/dev work
