You don’t even need to manually proof read.. how these publications don’t require a once-through with something like grammarly is astounding to me.

Heh, two sides of a coin I guess. I see a lot of HNers denounce Grammarly as a keylogger, and that 'no one should use it'.

It does not have to be Grammarly. LanguageTool has been around for more than 15 years and it works offline.
