What a collosal clusterfuck. I am curious for how long this has been going on before those idiots have picked it up, and just how many people have been affected?

And what about the cost to the taxpayers? These morons have been casually robo-mailing go-to-jail cards with zero scruple, and had cops track down and imprison innocent folks — at taxpayers’ expense.

A regular person commits a crime, they go to prison. A person commits a crime by acting on behalf of and making decisions for a large company, they have no liability. Much like how qualified immunity is abused by government officials to break laws it's very clear there are people who the law applies to and the people it does not.
