Where's the content here? Clicking around, almost all event pages only include an abstract or a Zoom invite. There aren't even any specific papers mentioned in most cases, just a suggestion to email the organizers for a video recording.

Looks like only some of the talks have a link to slides. The links visually blend into the other link in the title column.

By my count, six out of about 60 talks have linked slides.

A shame the videos weren't simply posted, but I imagine that's a thankless bureaucratic task. Would be great if someone could make a simple workflow everybody could use in such situations.

I wonder if the truth is not more depressing (they don't want to get sued under ADA).

I wonder if automatic transcription would suffice. I don’t think YouTube has been sued on these grounds.

But Berkeley has been, and as a result thousands of hours of high quality course content has been permanently removed.

Automatic transcription has improved tremendously in the six years since that complaint. In my experience (I use it) it's almost as good as a human transcription.

It has, but I wonder if that's enough to effectively neutralize the perceived legal risks right now (I'm pretty optimistic it will sooner or later).

Is this MIT internal only, or can anyone subscribe to this mailing list?
