Thats not a minimum performance guarantee. They’re talking about an upper bound. It’s possible that the 4x is some niche benchmark.

That's just speculation. And even if it's 2x, it's still a very welcome improvement.

Certainly, but without knowing the workload that was used for the benchmark it’s a meaningless marketing number.
