I wonder if the gang were called 该死的美国 [loosely, "death to America"; more accurately just a swear word applied to America], if that would be translated or if it would just be reported as "Gaisidemeiguo Ransomware Gang".

Yanluowang is normally "Yama" or "King Yama" in English. If you really wanted to dramatize the gang, you could even call them the "King of Hell" gang.
