I found Bill Camarda's comment on NYT funny, a strong opinion for sure:

Silicon Valley: Create gigantic problems for somebody else to solve. Mock and disempower the democratic institutions accountable for solving them. Externalize the costs. Internalize the profits and the power. Rinse and repeat.
