What are some good ways to incorporate ChatGPT into my “service”

So in the past few years I developed a passion and appreciation for mechanical watches. As I started building a collection, I realized that there are a lot of good deals to be had when buying used (or sometimes new, or like new) from other users, rather than going through Authorized Dealers.

So I built a simple app that sends an email with listings that match the keywords that I have set. This way I get alerted to things that might be of interest to me without having to browse the forums.

I thought it would be interesting to integrate with the openai api to enhance the emails that I receive, which are currently just a list of urls and prices.

Two things I tried: highlight the best deal, and provide interesting facts about those watch models. Both ideas were failures, because the information provided was mostly BS.

Any ideas of things that I can try with more chances of success? :)

PS: I asked chatgpt to rewrite my post to increase engagement, and this is what it came up with:

Over the past few years, I've developed a deep passion for mechanical watches and began amassing a collection. I quickly realized the numerous great deals available on pre-owned, new, or like-new timepieces through user-to-user transactions, as opposed to Authorized Dealers.

To make the search process easier, I created an app that sends email alerts with listings based on my specified keywords, allowing me to discover enticing deals without constantly browsing forums.

I'm now looking to integrate OpenAI API to elevate the email alerts, which currently consist of just URLs and prices. My initial attempts to highlight the best deals and provide intriguing facts about the watch models were unsuccessful, as the information generated was mostly unreliable.

I'm turning to the brilliant minds of Hacker News to brainstorm potential ideas that leverage the OpenAI API to enhance my watch alert system. What are your thoughts on innovative features or improvements that could lead to success? Let's discuss!
