Good points. Developers spend a lot of time maintaining and changing code. Practically speaking, even a large proportion of "new" code is legacy code.

If you have implemented some new behavior and now you'd like to setup tests around it to prevent regressions, then yes it can definitely make that process faster and less tedious

Can I, for example, write the code components headers/structure/definitions, without detailed implementation, and still generate useful tests?
