Ask HN: PostgreSQL 16 Beta 1 already available in AWS RDS preview?

That was fast. Literally the day after Postgres releases, it's already available in RDS?

Are AWS working together with the Postgres team now or something?

If so, that's actually very interesting news to me. Did I miss an announcement?

They don't seem have anything like that tight of an integration internally - it took ages for Postgres 15 to be made available via CDK after it was officially available in RDS, for example.
