Recursive Function Agents

hey HN! back again with a snap podcast covering the OpenAI updates from yesterday. Commentary from:

Simon Willison (of Simon Willison’s Weblog)

Riley Goodside from Scale

Joshua Lochner (Xenova) from Huggingface/Transformers.js

Roie Schwaber-Cohen from Pinecone

Stefania Druga from Microsoft Research

and many more other talented AI Engineers. My editorial here is an insight I had on the call about recursive function agent design using GPT to call itself if it feels it is warranted. I have the feeling that we are designing a new kind of computer and we just discovered the XOR gate. Let me know your thoughts!

This is partly what AutoGPT does, no?
