It was included as an incubator feature in Java 19, and will be available as a preview feature in Java 21 later this year
It's actually available as a preview feature in early access builds of Java 21 right now, for those who really live on the edge!
I'd love to see Kotlin migrate their coroutines to a thin layer on top of virtual threads. Would make interop with Java code much nicer and improve performance.
