Only half-joking btw. I thought the article was way more about "cut scope ruthlessly so you can use simpler tools" than it was about "use the simplest tool for the job".

I'm willing to sacrifice a website that tries to keep state up to date without requiring a page refresh so that I can avoid all the complexity and bugs which come from it.
