Research Lab Website Design Template

It's great looking at the repo to see the simplicity, just some HTML and CSS, don't need to compile some stupid CSS templating language, a bunch of variables and a dependency on npm for some unknown reason.

It reminds me of my early days of playing with web.

That said, visually, it gives a sort of spam site vibe in 2023, uninspiring, uses gradient buttons, immediately gives me the impression that whatever research it holds is as boring as the colour scheme.

I mean that constructively and not as a criticism.

Perhaps a static site generator with a suitable theme would be more appropriate for a site where presumably the information it holds should be front and centre?
