Hybride Place – Manage your office visits

Thanks for sharing my Slack application. Here is a little background story why I build it:

Over the past two years, I have had the opportunity to work for three different companies. Interestingly, in each of these companies, there was a common need to share our working locations, whether it was at home or in the office, with our colleagues. This requirement aimed to foster productivity and collaboration within the teams. If we knew that a colleague would be working from the office, it was highly likely that others would follow suit to ensure effective teamwork.

To address this need, each company employed different methods. Some relied on direct messaging, where we would ask our colleagues about their planned work location for the upcoming week. Others used a shared spreadsheet or a dedicated Confluence page to update and maintain our location schedules. However, these approaches had their shortcomings. Some people would occasionally forget to update the data, leading to confusion and inefficiency.

This is the background story why Hybride.place is born. It is a Slack application specifically designed to manage office visits and provide visibility into colleagues' planned work locations. With Hybride.place, you no longer have to rely on manual updates or individual reminders. It streamlined the process and provided a centralized platform where you could easily manage office visits and stay informed about where your colleagues are planning to work.
