Hacker News Reader

The hacker news title is also the opposite of everything we want: nothing to do with the article's title.

Which is: The first Android is 15 years old, and it is the opposite of everything we want in a smartphone today

It took me 3 readings before I realized the salient difference. Guess I'm not awake.

To clarify: the original title compares the original Android Phone to what we (?) want today. The HN title says today's Android (OS?) is bad.

Seems like a pretty useless article. The first ding it doles out is for carrier lock-in.

The original iPhone did it too with AT&T. I wonder how "The iPhone is 16 years old; it is the opposite of everything we want" would fly..

Anyone know of decent modern keyboard phones?

And no, the Astro slide is not one of them.

Better yet: modern phones with really good desktop docking functionality ala Samsung Dex?
