Tell HN: GitHub Is Having Problems

Thought I was about to get laid off because URLs kept 404ing haha

Status Page Incident: <https://www.githubstatus.com/incidents/xb30mby9fs5x>

Sometimes the client-side routing will show a page/repo/etc. But when you request/refresh the page with the browser it just shows 404.

Yep getting 404s on my private repos. The status page has caught on now.

YEP problems here and ui many other services too looks like

I also experience weird 404 errors.

Same here

Seems like they're running into issues rendering projects sometimes and they render their 404 page when that happens. It's happening reliably for me in certain projects but generally not on the projects' owner pages.

https://github.com/rails works

https://github.com/rails/rails does not

Everything is 404ing
