Is it intentional subversion (of the external link content, or the site she links from) or is she just randomly linking things? It's all very confusing.
Examples:
> Evidence of this shift in priorities is everywhere, but perhaps its starkest instance might be what’s sometimes denounced as a “woke takeover of science” — but which could just as accurately be described as the re-subordination of empiricism to moral doctrine.
That seems like a standard unherd take on woke science, yet the article linked to with the text "woke takeover of science" is in fact a strong attack on the Tory party using woke science as a bogeyman:
Headline: ‘Just desperate’: Tory pledge to ‘kick woke out of science’ put under the microscope
> Science Secretary Michelle Donelan has been slammed for “making things up and then rallying against it” after she pledged to kick woke ideology out of science.

> we’re losing the ability across the board to see the world in mechanistic terms: for example losing our ability to build or maintain complex systems, or even keep the roads repaired.
Seems, in context, like a standard complaint about potholes, kids today etc. but the link is pointing a finger directly at Tory government and has a lengthy takedown of Liz Truss's brief leadership, and a negative progrnosis for the (at the time) new Sunak regime:
> irresponsible government action has put the nation in an indefinite state of chaos that could ultimately bear disastrous consequences
In another article she seems to be literally claiming that satanists are encouraging abortion and sex changes but links to a guardian article explaining the satanic temple is political protest group and another article describing mad conspiracy theories as a new satanic panic.
She's apparently an editor and her areas of coverage are wild, but not doctrinaire as far as I can tell:

A real enigma.
In the unknown grew the vile plant that is fear, and that in turn provided a fertile ground for human cruelty. Fear of change, of the other, of the different, of death and of the unknown. We haven't even managed to vanquish these demons yet, though great strides have been made.
I'll remind you that you can make magic today. You don't need mystery and fear. Go, surprise someone. Choose someone at random and create a magical moment. Delight them. Or baffle them. It takes less than you think. We all have that power.
She was disappointed to find that, contrary to her assumption, they would be travelling on a ferry...

> People with significant vision loss may have vivid recurrent visual hallucinations (fictive visual percepts).[4] One characteristic of these hallucinations is that they usually are "lilliputian" (hallucinations in which the characters or objects are smaller than normal).[5]
