Bug in the randomness of BitcoinJS which was created by Stefan Thomas. Used in blockchain.info wallets. Vulnerability called Randstorm. Can check wallet at https://www.keybleed.com

The link above is likely trustworthy but people should NOT put their wallet details into random websites.

The website only asks for the public key

Why is that risky?

If, as the article claims, there is a vulnerability in certain wallets, then checking said vulnerable wallets could expose them to attack.
