The Pension: That Rare Retirement Benefit Gets a Fresh Look

IBM has messed with their retirement plan during pretty much every CEO tenure. I would not use them as some beacon.

Personally, I don't trust companies and their incentives to be reliable enough to provide that pension plan and payout for the long haul. They complain employees no longer have loyalty, well it's their behavior which has created that sentiment
