2 pointsmartinbaun1 comment

Programming languages/tooling seems to have been forgotten for many years.

The only bold and new things never seemed to take off and were quickly forgotten.

However, in the last few years, there have been many interesting developments, and it is accelerating.

Some honorable mentions

* Zig programming language

* Rust Programming language

* Go(lang) tooling is getting a kick-up as well

* Python is getting their Mojo

* JavaScript is getting Bun, and a lot of things are happening in the Node/Deno space as well

Do you see this trend as well?

And do you have more honorable mentions?

And why do you think so?
