There's a micro-genre of TikTok videos of realistic or semi fantastical ai generated interior designs. Just this week I've seen those same style of images include looping animation (steam coming from a shower, plant fronds gently swaying). It's amazing how fast things are moving in this space.

Don’t open this site on mobile. Found it lead to continually opening lots of full screen videos crashing my browser.

My phone got very hot and didn’t play anything.

Looks like full body movement is still unnatural (e.g. reverse joint pose riding a bicycle and funny foot sliding during walking), and the classic missing a finger problem. Long way for AI to model photorealistic human. FWIW “foot cannot slide” is important for AI generated characters in gaming industry

I'd like to see it, but it looks like the sheer number of videos almost freezes my computer...

That's because they have set all 72 of them to autoplay. If you want to watch:

- open your browsers developer tools before navigating to the site (usually right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Inspect")

- open the console within the developer tools

- now navigate to the site

- paste this:

  document.querySelectorAll("video").forEach((v) => {v.autoplay = null; v.controls = "controls"})

into the console and press return to disable autoplay and show the player controls

This kind of sites always freeze my decent phone! If the maintainer of the template of such sites reads this: please fix it! Add thumbnails instead of highres videos in size of previews, don't autoplay or even add gifs...

Right, phones! Sorry, I still tend to forget people surf on those as well.

Best I can do on the go is this - part I due to size:

Firefox? for me it is just freezing compared to smooth Chrome and decent Safari on pages like this with lots of videos loading and playing simultaneously.

Stunning! Can't wait to see where TTV is in a year or two.

BTW, I really appreciate how they don't shy away from also displaying their failures - like the "cowboy [...] stands in front of a chair" who is sitting.

I actually like how a lot of these AI images and videos get the world a bit wrong, it kind of gives these works a character of their own.

The kid riding the bike but the wheels aren't rolling and are made of dirt, it's kind of cool. The windmill with the blades morphing back into the roof.

I honestly can't wait to try something like this offline in locale.

Stable Video Diffusion https://huggingface.co/stabilityai/stable-video-diffusion-im...

Can try AnimateDiff locally easily using StableDiffusion. It's available as an extension for SD.

this kind of stuff + VR in the next 5 years is going to result in some really interesting stuff.
