Tool for reporting and tracking sites which are using tile.openstreetmap.org servers but not attributing OpenStreetMap.

Following OSM data license (that effectively makes necessary to attribute OpenStreetMap, in way visible to user) is necessary in general. But enforcing it is much easier when someone who violates OpenStreetMap license also uses also OpenStreetMap servers.

See also official announcement on https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/websites-using-osmf-ti...

(I took part in creating it but per https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html it does not qualify for show HN as it is not interactive)

(disclaimer: I am heavily active in OSM, including being part of OpenStreetMap Foundation board)

So this replaces https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lacking_proper_attributi... or runs in parallel? I see somebody added three entries on the wiki page today.

Runs in parallel, this new thing covers only cases when they OpenStreetMap Foundation servers.

https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lacking_proper_attributi... covers laso cases when someone for example runs own map server or is paying for hosting it somewhere else (for example, by using Mapbox services).
