Ask HN: Does Stripe ban accounts or people?

If I have 2 Stripe accounts, and 1 gets banned for excessive chargebacks, does the other one also get banned, because it's also owned by me?

Or does it remain untouched because it's a separate business that's still in good standing?

I'd guess most likely both get banned.

I don’t know. But I am curious why you expect excessive chargebacks? What is your business?

Just regular SaaS businesses.

1 is a Shopify-like app, the other is a Twitter scheduler.

However, some of my customers have been filing friendly fraud claims.

I'm just wondering if I should be concerned.
