Did an AI write that hour-long "George Carlin" special? I'm not convinced

Doesn't even sound like George Carlin to me.

Reads like a cheap parody of his work, but anyone could do that.

The “dudesy” thing is not a real LLM or anything similar. Its just a gimmick for some dumb comedy podcast with Will Sasso. It is very obviously not a real chatbot and is scripted. I am almost 100% certain this is the same thing. One of the comedians in the podcast probably wrote this.

Surprised to see no reference to the "I forced a bot to watch 1000 hours of X" guy. It's a similar bit, although at least now it's a little plausible. But now that AI is pretty good at text generation, you can't hide behind absurdist humor anymore.

I'm like 24 minutes into it and liking it; no idea if this is bad or good.

Tangentially, anyone noticed the huge number of errors in writings and signs on the accompanying AI generated images?

It’s waaay too good for an LLM to have come up with this. Definitely scripted.

Jokes are expectedly mid, but the voice performance is pretty good.
