OpenAI experiments with giving ChatGPT a long-term conversation memory

This is an obviously valuable feature to add. I wonder if there is a clean intuitive way to shard your conversations; eg maybe have different personas with different memory? That way you can have your geeky physics conversations with one GPT, and talk about sports with another, say. Not sure you want every conversation going into the same memory stream.

(This is more in the direction of Character.ai and Meta’s chat bots, where each has a distinct personality and context you’d engage them.)
