Ask HN: Jupyter notebook for "non-technical" people – does this exist?
I've worked for many years as a Data Scientist. A big part of my work has been answering questions with data, then presenting my findings to get people/teams on the same page with next steps.
For example: We see our churn for $PRODUCT_X trending upwards. What's happening? And what do we do to fix it? I'd start by talking to someone who lives and breathes $PRODUCT_X, test some hypotheses and hopefully, find out the root cause of the problem. I may also recommend a solution with evidence based on data from other parts of the business (often in the form of charts)
If there was a way for the non-technical folks to do what I did, the iteration loop could be so much shorter (plus they wouldn't have to wait on a DS headcount).
My closest archetype for this product would be an AI capable jupyter notebook that's collaborative, sharable and can be forked like a github repo where people could do their own spin on the analysis.
Does a product like this exist? An initial search didn't really yield much.
