Yeah, I know a girl who used her nickname rather than real name for her account. It got locked and required ID verification, which was obviously denied.

I no longer use LinkedIn. I've never gotten a job from the site. Mostly just spam messages. A horrible platform.

i deleted mine because it does not work, it makes me search for many certifications and stuff, i was looking for things to get a certification, and not to learn, i was so terrible. toxic platform.

Yes it is bad. Since Microsoft got it they are trying to milk people's data.

One should use it only to apply for work, and in most cases the links take you to the companies' websites, so you can avoid uploading tons of data on LI.

What do you use for job hunting?

Basically just Indeed. It's where I got most of my jobs. I know it's limiting. If LinkedIn works for you, use it. But it's been the worst site for me, honestly.
